The physical destruction or disintegration of something or the state of disintegrating or being destroyed: a large white house falling into gentle ruin. (Definition of Ruin by the Oxford Dictionaries)
———————
Ruins offer singular feelings to the ones whiling to dream. From ruins sadness and hope arise and when we are close to them we feel protected but also lost. My walls are taken by wonderful humid textures and Mr. Time is doing once again his masterpiece. Here I am, sheltered by abandoned walls in which I don’t want to be. Why ruins have always attracted artists? What do you think C. David? -It is in the past where we really want to live, it is the past what we really want to paint. In that moment David takes his cup of tea and drops it; the fragile porcelain breaks in hundred of pieces…now these little pieces belong to the floor, but only if we don’t dare to collect them, but only if we don’t put them back together.
